I can certainly see Bill not wanting to take the risk of Saul telling tales - if anyone knows all the dirt it's him!

There is a certain intimacy in this sharing of their pasts and this sharing of anecdotes is something one would hope they found time for. They both love mysteries and what better one to solve than that of what shaped the one you love.

Saul's definitely got the dirt but I'm not sure that Laura's very interested in pursuing that, she just wanted to keep Bill talking - and why not!

Could I just ask, what is 'pbbt'? I've tried to puzzle it out based on the context but I'm coming up blank. Bit of a chump with these abbreviations, sorry.

There is a fic somewhere where Laura suggests to Bill that he could have had a great career narrating audio books. Sounds as though she right!

I think you might have a sequel idea for this fic with Laura asking Saul for those stories after all!

To be honest that sort of sequel hadn't occurred to me because I didn't really see it in terms of Laura being very serious about that threat, just being aware that it would work on Bill since Saul clearly would have all the dirt and could be persuaded, by the judicious application of alcohol, to share it.
