After years of politics and assignations with Richard, Laura Roslin was well practiced in the art of deception.
She had put her skills to good use every day since the attacks.
The size of a lie mattered, but so did the size of the secret disguised.
"No, nothing urgent. Allergies."
A statement, seemingly so bland and inconsequential, would never arouse Commander Adama’s suspicions.
Moreover, the elder Adama underestimated her. He had made it clear that he thought her obnoxious and unqualified, but she knew had no reason to suspect her of being an accomplished liar.
All the better for her.
