Well, we are done camping, and let me tell you, the dirt that came off in the shower just now was amazing. My feet are still dirty...it'll take more than one shower to clean that out! We had a blast though, a good time was had by all, and my daughter more than anyone. She had so much to do all day and it was go, go, go all week long! She slept like ( Read more... )

Welcome back to the world of showers! Sounds like you had a good time. =) Looking forward to R/S fic, and psh-posh, I was barely 14 when I became a slashaholic and look at me now! =F Heh. Either way, good luck with finding time to read and write.

That R/S is probably going to get done sooner than anything else, it's all running through my head! ;) Although, I am almost ready to post another chapter of Confessions. XD

Hhhmmmm, 14 eh? get 'em hooked early! XD Seriously though, I like to keep my *ahem* online activities somewhat seperate from reallife..for instance everyone knows I ama Harry Potter junkie, but very few people know I write HP fanfic, and no one knows trhat it's predominately slash fic. *blushes* Everyone I know is so uptight, the only person I would probably tell without hesitation is my best friend from high school who is actually a lesbian, but that's not the reason, it's because she is more open and would laugh her ass off whereas everyone else would be shocked and horrified!! XD *shrugs*

Anyway, thanks! XD

Heh. I'm the exact same way about real life and the internet. My friends and family all know I have a fondness for HP, but no one knows the depths to which I have sunk. Everyone I know is actually fairly open-minded. I'd just be far too embarrassed to say anything. XD

Chapter 8 of Canine Affinity coming soon, I promise. ^^ I still have to decide which option I like the most (or more exactly which one I dislike the less) for the opening sentence, that's giving me as much trouble as the sentences of chapter 7 you helped me make better.

Well, I think Maggie found a solution. The first sentences are:

"I solemnly swear that I am up to no good."
A short laugh rang out in the dark tunnel - so dark that two wand tips were barely enough to light it up a bit.
"Sirius!"
Remus didn't even need to ask for an explanation. He knew that, from the day they had decided to use that formula as a password for their magic map, Sirius had found highly amusing the idea of his so reasonable friend swearing he was up to no good.

And the problem was that, in the way I first wrote it, the sentence with the laugh and the tunnel was a little confusing (Maggie said it could gave the impression that the laugh was lit up by the wands, which was obviously not what I meant).

So the chapter would probably be ready before the end of the week (unfortunately I won't have the computer before Friday, except for a few minutes tomorrow).

Excellent. Sounds good and I can't wait to read it! Woot!

Oh and that is so Sirius, liking that phrase for that reason! ;)

Hey, welcome back! And I'm looking forward to your R/S fic. Btw, I understand the issue w/your niece. My 7-year-old niece follows me around everywhere too and likes to sneak up on me when I'm writing or reading slash--but yup, she's too young to know anything about that, so I just wait 'til she's gone. :)

Yeah, kids can be amazingly persistant. I still have my nights, but the days are off limits right now. *pouts* Too much going on irl to get much done online. Ah, well. This too shall pass.
