Thanks. :D I'm glad it's been well recieved, angst or not. I love that song too, it has always been one of my favorites.
I am toying with the idea of writing Sirius' POV, but I'm not sure if it will turn out well, or if it will change the impact of this piece. But I am thinking of it as stemming from The Daffodil Lament, another one of my faves. It doesn't fit as well as this song, but still, there are bits in there that really connect to this ficlet.
Well, I think I am going to attempt it, although not right away, I have to write a fluffy piece for a fic exchange...but I will. I have been getting flashes of Sirius packing...and the last argument.
After listening to more, I am going to pull more from Empty, cause it fits better, even though The Daffodil Lament is such a favorite for me. I'm not sure if I could pick a favorite song though, I think my fave albulm is No Need to Argue, but I love Linger and Dreams, so who knows.
So yeah, that'll be soon, but I don't know when. I have alot going on right now. *sighs* darn RL.
This broke my Remus-loving heart. Please tell me there will be a happy/fluffy sequel? Preferably an AU where nobody has an Incident with a certain V**l, and they live in puppy-love forever.
Also, I want some backstory. Like, what exactly is Remus doing for Dumbledore? How did they get together (feel free to include mentions of smooching and groping)?
Wow, I've never had such an enthusiastic reply! Thanks so much. :D Well, I have been thinking of a companion piece, from Sirius' POV...and now I am thinking about a prequel...I do have a vision of what Remus is doing, and perhaps a glimpse of the Unbreakable Vow scene?? Now I will have to pet the plot bunnies you have brought me. ;)
Awww, the smooching, I can and will give you some of that. As for a happy ending, sorry, I can't do it, not with this piece anyway, it's angst is oh so very canon compliant.
Thank you again, I feel like I really should keep writing when I get reviews like this.
I'm gonna friend you...to be honest, your name reminds me of a friend I used to work with, and you're quirky like her! LOL
Every creative effort deserves enthusiasm and encouragement! Especially if it is actually a good one! I look forward to the companion piece, so write fast :) Smooching is mightily encouraged. Include it, and you'll have my unswerving support.
I'm terribly emotional about any form of angst, so I guess I'll be shedding a tear or three in the future...
Thank you for friending me :) The name is from an opera I had a passing fancy for.
Yeah, I'll work on that. :D I got a plot bunny for another sequel from one of my other fics though...I think it is demanding attention from me tonight. :d Too many bunnies, too little time. ;)
Hmm, that's interesting. My friend's name is Thais, it's unique just like she is! LOL
;_; So sad! But really well written. ^_^ At least as far as I can tell, since English is not my language... But you know what I mean, I suppose. You manage to make us share their feeling of desperation and it's the kind of things I like most when I read a story, so I like your fic even if it makes me sad. Now I'm going to read something else... ^^
Aww, thanks. :D I'm actually working on a little bit of both right now, a longer angsty fic that won't be ready for a while, and a shorter fluffier piece that will be done sometime soon. Both R/S actually. :D
I read the sequel to this the other day, so I had to come back to read this part. Wow, very well done again. Seriously. It absolutely pains me when the two boys are so bitter and sad and angry. But it has to be that way, right?

As much as it kills me to say it, if it was all rainbows and kittens, it just wouldn't grip us, would it?
