Poor Norrington.

I keep on thinking about Nicholas in Forever Knight when I think of this story. Its interesting to see how he is gonna to react to being with his men and other aspects of his life.

I admit I never saw Forever Knight. Is it a vampire movie? I know I heard the name before...

Well, the protaganist has to have problems, doesn't he? Otherwise where is the story?

Ok, if I wasn't hooked before, then I definately am now. Like I said, I'm all for vampire stories, and if dear James is involved, much more better. :)

Leave it to James to be wondering if vampire saliva can be used as a healing agent on his wedding night. Of course, now that small part of my brain devoted to slash is picturing him healing a lethal gunshot wound in Gillete with his magical vampire tongue.

Well, I'm glad you enjoyed it.

And a good commander is *never* off duty, even when they're on shore leave. And *really* good commanders will know things are wrong just because the ship *doesn't feel right* even if he doesn't know why. Yeah, watched too much classic Star Trek ... And do you really think that after hearing such shocking news - that his wife is a vampire - he'd just *forget* it? One doesn't forget things like that. It's hard to even believe it. I'm also trying to work in a bit of plot. Or the seeds of a plot anyway...

Well, it wouldn't remove the bullet...

And I've never written slash either.

Well, I will update this story once I have the plot more solid and planned. I still need to figure it out. Glad you thought it was cool. :)

I'll try to post another chapter of the vampire story by the weekend, OK? I have some of the plot worked out and hopefully it'll be exciting. It'll also be a bit complex, have different elements. Then when I finish "Canopy" I'll start on my second spooky story, "Unbound". It should be interesting if you can guess what type of creature!feature that one is (after you read some chapters, that is).

I'm glad we can be friends. :) Thanks for liking my style. I like your drawings. Truthfully I have *no idea* how people can draw or color anything on a computer. I once tried coloring something using Picture It! Express and it looked awful. It took forever, too, using these round dots of "paint". And then it was all splotchy, too. I'd much rather write. It's far easier!
