Why make us choose? Do both? :D

I wouldnt mind some naughty adult R rated stuff. Though I will confess I like this story so I wouldnt mind another along the same lines.

Maybe the R rated one first and then "A Pirate's life for me?"

I like where this is going, and I wonder what Gov. Swann will say?

Yes, I can do both .. but I prefer working on one story at a time. I suppose I could try writing both at the same time but then they may never get finished. I noticed the group seems to have a lot of stories hanging in limbo with no updates and I prefer to finish mine.

It would be rated R for some violence, although I could sneak in some "adult stuff" but it will probably stay PG-13 for that. I don't feel comfortable writing sex scenes. Nor do I beleive Elizabeth or James would induldge in that sort of thing until after they are married. For all her wild streak and pirate obsession, she is still a lady more or less. The only reason she kissed Jack was to chain him up to save her own life (and the others). If it weren't for that, I doubt she would have kissed him at all.

Still, there will be things creeping about in the story and things won't be normal, so...

And don't blame me if it scares you! lol

No I understand about working on 2 or more stories at once. Iknow I have one unfinished story that I hope to finish *fingers crossed*

How about you do the "adult" one first than do the adventure story. But it depends on how you like to write. Sometimes if things are going good and clicking for me I dont want to stop and start a different type of story.

Well, I often write on a long story and then write short one-shots in between various chapters. Switching from one fic to another doesn't bother me. Sometimes I find it a bit refreshing if they are two different types of stories.

I wrote a bit of a PG-13 Norribeth that I shall be posting soon. Its one of those one-shots I just mentioned. The "mushy" stuff is way at the end so you have to read it all to get to it! Mahahaha!

When I do write the sequel I will need to find more dangerous things than a croc. The story is quite dull. But then, the whole point of it was to explore Jamaica's wildlife... sort of a virtual tour if you will. It just ended up a lot longer than I thought. Nor was it exactly fair to leave the 2 lieutenants sitting in a field all day with nothing to do. At least they got a meal out of it.

good god I would be frightened to see her legs too! She's never shaved a hair on her body! Good gosh thats gross! I know you have her smooth skin an all in this but I talked to this one Renni (renaissance fair worker) and she told me women did not shave arm and leg hair at this time, They would shave their head and eye brows to put on those elaborate wigs (like Gov. Swann) but the need for shaving of the limbs was not needed till the hems of skirts got shorter and long sleeves started to shrink as well.

But I liked this chapter! Its so funny, and I love the lieutenants. So cute.

LOL... hairy gorilla legs, er? Yes, I suppose that could be frightening. But you do realize THEY have hairy legs, too? The guys, I mean. Still, I write her with modern, shaved legs. Elizabeth is a very modern woman, yes? Maybe she is an early trend-setter far ahead of her time and has been using her father's straight razor on her legs. Why not?

Those wigs cost 30 British pounds in the 18th century. That's equal to 300 British pounds these days or so I read on this one website on fashion. Not sure what that is in US dollars?

Meant to comment earlier, but another good chapter. Poor Theo and Andrew, stuck in a field like human bird feeders all day. And James really should know better than thinking Elizabeth would miss the horse switch. Silly commodore. :)

Thanks for the review. :)

Yes, James is being a bit silly I guess, but then he thought she knew nothing of horses. Right? She is very clever though; DMC proved that.

I did read that the powdered wigs were very expensive. A normal one (probably like the one Norrington wears) cost 30 British pounds in those days. That would be like 300 British Pounds these days - or so I read on this website about 18th century fashion. I never knew they were that expensive! Poor James really had an expensive date! It even said people would steal the wigs whenever they could... Not sure what that would be in US dollars... ?

I plan on making Theo and Andrew regular characters in my fics as someone has to fill the gap left by the various pirate characters. :)

Well, it's one thing to know nothing of horses, but when they're a different color...I kept expecting Elizabeth to put her hands on her hips and be all "James Norrington, I may not be an equestrian, but I'm not colorblind!" :)

That definately was a costly date for him. And I'm happy that you'll be including Andrew and Theo in your other fics, I'm fond of them both.
