I have finished my next Norribeth story. The idea for this story came to me early this morning and I wrote it all in one sitting. The title came from a song I learned in school some time ago, about a boy who went off to war and never returned and left his girl waiting.

I, on the other hand, come from a stable household where my parents loved each other very much. My father taught me values.
I love James, but when he said that, I wanted to slap him. Having two parents doesn't make him any better than anyone else and I hate when people say that as if my life is ruined because my dad was a dick.
Later when she had helped him up from the pig’s pen he had recognized her instantly as well, even disguised in her boy’s clothing. Even Jack hadn’t identified her right away. Perhaps they were meant to be together.
