OK, the Pierce Brosnan/Rene Russo art heist movie isn't the greatest (well, it has its, um, points), but the scene at the end at the museum with the cops and all the guys dressed the same and the music is definitely nicely done...

They did the "We've got the rights to this thing for now, so let's show it twice back to back" thing ... I like it. Leary's good, and Pierce is usually good. I like Rene in nicer roles, though, like in "Tin Cup." Well, I guess she was tough in "Lethal Weapon ? and ?" ... I don't know. I just like the classiness of it. I like it when the chaser knows the chasee did it, and the chasee knows the chaser knows that, and they play their little game...

But how DID he steal the painting at the end?

It does bother me a little each time I see it. I like to be able to look at a movie and say, "Yeah, I guess that could happen..." (unless it's sci-fi or something)

Now, "The Usual Suspects," where in the end you have no idea what really happened all along, that was unfair. Of course, it was also part of the movie's genius, but still, very unfair...

I <3 that movie. I am a BIG fan of both Brosnan and Russo, so their collaboration was a happy thing for me. I'm so jealous- she looked absolutely GORGEOUS in that movie. That see-through dress OH MY GOD. I was like- shoot I'm like 1/2 her age and I don't look like that. :P

Actually, I liked the scenes where she wasn't wearing the dress... ;)

And I think that's one of those movies where later on they say, "Yeah, I was in the gym with my personal trainer(s) for 10 hours a day for 6 months before we shot that ... I didn't actually eat during that time..."

I didn't sat it wasn't good, but my point is, the big oooooahhhhh about that movie was the fact that she was topless in it...
