last time we spoke

Very late last night I suddenly got struck by a thought. "Hey, what happened to that new Joseph Arthur album he talked about when he was here?" that food does sound amazing! why is satay a waste of time? My bf and I went for Thai and the waitress talked us out of satay (although we ordered it the next time we went there and it was fine!)

and I am proud to admit I may be pale as a ghost, but I can handle spice. I love meals with red chillis or something equally spicy. :D

Heh. It's boring, that's why! It's just nuts and not particularly flavoursome nuts, either. I can think of far better things to do with peanuts than crush them and slather them onto skewers ... putting them into brownies with chocolate, now that's the perfect use. *lol*

Also, it seems to be a thing that in Western countries the only thing people with palates far more crippled than yours or mine seem to be able to hack. And then they seem to think they're really cool and brave and multicultural cos they only order satay skewers and butter chicken when they go to Indian or Asian restaurants. Always make the Aunt and I roll our eyes and scoff a little. I think it's a total waste of time, she reckons it's a total waste of money too. Hee.

Can you?! I didn't know that! That's awesome! Oh I'm so envious of the Mexican meal you posted photos of, I've never had good Mexican food and that looked very yummy! Ha, good. When you come back to Sydney, I'll have no fear about taking you to the good restaurants, then. :D
