For Martha is such a beautiful song.

I think the whole Adore album in general is beautiful and severely underrated.

I totally agree with you about Adore. It was my first Pumpkins album and still my favourite. And omg everything about it from the pix to all the fonts. I was actually lucky enough to find the fonts and then enough of a dork to download and use them at every opportunity. Actually, the Keep The Faith in my current header is a Machina font. :p

My grandma bought me Mellon Collie wayyyy back in the day, and that will always and forever be my fave SP album. NGL, I kind of hated Adore for a short time, but ONLY because Jimmy Chamberlin wasn't a part of it. And I totally downloaded the Mellon Collie font and used it for EVERYTHING! Your header is gorgeous, btw!

I was looking at your userinfo just now and realized we have a ton of the same interests! XF, SP, Millennium, Goldfrapp, William Burroughs... have you ever listened to Patti Smith, by any chance?

Yeah, I totally get what you mean about hating the lack of Chamberlin. I feel the same way sometimes, always that twinge of regret at the obvious drum machine bits. Mind you, it kinda has its own charm. :p

Thank you! I still want to tweak the blues, they're not quite the blues I like but I do love that pic of him so very much and it totally reflects the summer blueness of our Aussie Christmas. :p

I'm ashamed to say I've only ever heard one Patti Smith song and that, of course, being Horses as played during the hallucination sequence in Millennium. Frankly, she intimidates me to fuck and I'm always afraid I won't understand or like her. *lol* I am rather picky about my female singers ... :p

But GOLDFRAPP! Omg, rules. Can't wait for the new album ... it's going to be fascinating to see which direction they go. You ever seen them live?
