Ha, always an excellent present for people like us, book vouchers!

You know, I keep forgetting I actually haven't read that one. But if it's anything like its sequel Cybele's Secret, it's a fair chance I wouldn't like it either. But you've reminded me I should track it down soon. *nod*

I can lend it to you if you want? I picked it up when it was very cheap at my local A&R (like, $7 cheap). I enjoyed it, it was a very quick read, but there wasn't that much substance to it, in a way (which doesn't mean that I expect every single book to be a deep philosophical exploration of the human condition). I am a sucker for the Seelie and Unseelie Courts though, so I enjoyed it because of that. Also, it was set in a parallel-universe Romania, and incorporated some European folk tales, which I also enjoyed.

That would be awesome! Thank you!

And ooh if you like the whole Seelie/Unseelie thing, you're gonna love pretty much all of Marillier's stuff. Say the word and I can shower you wif Marillier stuff. *nod*
