i've probably told you that a cousin gave me naked lunch to read when i was 18. he was from california and thought he was sophisticated. he may've thought it was a kick to corrupt the innocent. gak. i think i never recovered from the horror. it might affect me differently now.

Oh god, I can totally understand that. I know I was mildly terrified about reading it. And I know if I had read it any younger and in any other frame of mind, I might have been totally traumatised. As it is, I think it came on the heels of American Psycho and for some reason, I was enormously amused by the linguistic joy of Naked Lunch. So yeah, I don't know, perhaps it's a matter of age and previous reading. Y'know?

*lol* My hair is quite conservative these days, sorry to say. No colours, no cut, just growing any old way. It fluctuates between being a mass of unruly curls sticking out every which way and being severely tied back in a mass of curls. *snort* And doesn't seem to be photographing very well, either. Heh.

the curls sound really pretty. i suddenly wondered what was up with it, since you hadn't posted any photos in a while. that's the perfect icon! :D

Awww, thanks. Yeah, I kinda realised I haven't done a camwhore post for a while. I do try taking some pictures every now and then when I'm really really bored but none of the pix are worth seeing, believe me. When they are, they'll be posted. Heh.
