Aaron and I just finished Deathly Hallows - despite my having ripped through the last two within twelve hours of receiving them (within six hours for HBP, actually), we'd been taking it slowly, trying to savor it, reading two or three chapters between weekend chores, before bed, etc ( Read more... )

Yeah, the epilogue did seem like it was thrown together in 5 minutes, but overall, it was my favorite in the series, and I absolutely LOVED Mrs. Weasley's line:

"NOT MY DAUGHTER, YOU BITCH!"

It was very like the "bad fanfic" vibe I got from most of book 6. I'm glad this one was more well-written, though I really, really could have done without the epilogue.

And that line was definitely top three in the book.

Eeek. I'm halfway through it, having only gotten my hands on a copy yesterday around 5.

When I finish (hopefully later tonight) we shall have to exchange notes!
