Looks good to me. The only change I would make is the sentence about the types of weapons under boffer. Perhaps something about how newer players use swords until they're safe and then can diversify into a wide array of weapons. We don't want somebody thinking they can star with a polearm or a whip.
So this is to hand out to all the curious onlookers who wander past the first few boffer practices? That's a great idea!!!
A few notes:
Paragraph 2: stimulate should be simulate
Paragraph 3: you might as well include a link to the quest website, no? also, we probably want to give them contact info if they want to get more involved in quest. you could put me (as the OC) but it might make more sense to give them the info for one of the local people. i also wonder if you want to mention the improv acting angle, or the costumes? just a thought...
Paragraph 4: you probably want to clarify that the tavern nights and day events usually take place on the wes campus and only the weekend games are at pomfret
Thanks so much for doing this! Also, it may be worth it to run this past the board -- not to ask permission, of course. Just because those are people who may have good ideas and they don't all read your lj. (Who knows -- no one may even read it in time... but you might get good feedback!)
I think you might want to put the bit about not wanting do do one part or the other right after the "What is Quest" segment so that people who are only interested in one or the other keep reading.
By and large, looks exciting! Will there be pictures?
