Yesterday, when I was moving around the cats' pots of grass, I noticed some tiny pink eggs on one stem of grass

Yes, apparently baby anything is cute. I do not understand exactly, I merely observe.

The grass has been hosting caterpillars of the evening brown butterfly all summer (I can now tell you the crysalis takes about two weeks to "hatch"), so I'm getting used to seeing interesting stuff on the grass. But these things are so tiny.
