Yeah all the crossovers are starting to make my head spin. All I do when watching shows is figure out how they can cross over with other things. PLOT IS SECONDARY.

Idk guys, I'm very apprehensive about Glee.

I know the writers were very out in the open about pulling in a "popular" kid, theoretically to attempt to subvert it later...but I don't see a ton of evidence of that coming to pass. From where I'm at, it sure looks like it's getting set up so he's swanned in to save the day, and in the lead up he and Rachel will get all the screen time. And the "freak" stereotypes, who already loved and were devoted to Glee club - Tina the "punk" Asian girl, Mercedes the "diva" African American girl, Kurt the gay guy, and Artie the guy in the wheelchair whose audition we didn't even get to see - really will just be the backup singers.

Which, eh, not interesting to me, no matter how good the music is (and don't think I didn't squee when he did Mr. Cellophane).

Name me another television series that has a main teenaged character in a wheelchair. And I think you might be buying into the shorthand stereotypes by thinking that's all there's gonna be to the characters when a pilot is just about establishing baselines that are to be deconstructed later.

Not interesting to you is fine, though.
