[Ever since this happened, Luke has been holed up in his room most of the time. The only creature he has even acknowledged since then is his new kitten, which he's been trying to take care of because he'll be damned if another life is lost because of him.

That changes today. He's still depressed, but he seems to have regained his resolve....Yeah.

But I need to stop moping around and doing nothing but feeding Lori all day.

Nor do I think that constantly beating yourself up over it will.
