I'm a firm believer in not cutting out any types of foods entirely. I know alot of people are into the low/no carb thing, but personally I think I would go insane w/o potatoes, pasta or bread. Definitely not anything I could do long-term, or even short-term w/o being really miserable. Instead I just restrict calories and fat grams. That's it.

But I do know this. Drinking a lot of water or diet soda before and while you eat is the best way to cut down on eating. Drinking too much fills you up like crazy. But nothing's better for controling weight than working out.
