New icon and Ironhide ficlet, Failsafe

This little one-shot, Failsafe, has lived over on the prompts comm for some time now. Thought I'd bring it home. ^.^ Ficlet below the cut.

Warnings: Pretty mild, but maybe PG-13, for an overall dark theme, violence and an OC death.

I just rediscovered this fic in my "to read" bookmarks and devoured it. I love so much how you write Ironhide and then at the end of it, including that override option... That is so Hide.

Oh, yes-you want the safety features on dangerous weapons. But you need that "If I'm going down, I'm taking you bastards with me!" option, too...and I think that option would probably be more important to Will and Ironhide, both.

This is sad but still hopeful. Ironhide has his memories, but the good ones as well as the bad; and he's looking to the future.
