Michael Patterson words to live by, as far as I can tell about his character. I'm glad you enjoyed that line. Michael's discussions with April over what it means to be a Patterson are some of my favourite dialogues on April's Real Blog.

qnjones,
I enjoyed Elizabeth and her failed suicide attempt. You should be careful though, Lynn doesn't steal the idea with her love for poop jokes.
underpantz,
Iris' follow-up relating Mike's "crazy" line to the missing Prozac and Surfak was a very nice combination of 2 very different storylines. I also enjoyed the reluctant Dixie reference. Excellent.

When I read the prozac and surfak suicide attempt post I laughed pretty hard and then thought about iris going to the medicine cabinet for jim's daily dose of anti-depressants and stool softener, and the bottles being empty and iris saying "am i going CRAZY or were these bottles full yesterday?" So there you go. thanks to QN for the inspiration! I had been nibbling on an iris post all day, but it all came together when I saw Liz had o.d.'ed.

I loved the one-two punch of the Liz pilfering and the Iris discovery. Or is it the jab-cross-jab of Liz pilfering/Becky Googling/Iris discovering? Either way, love all around! :)

Who wouldn't? ;) I mean, I know I would laugh my ass off if we got to see Dee start to lecture Liz with her supposedly great pharmacy wisdom, a la the monthly letters...and then see Elly hit Dee and actually say, "You idiot, who do you think you are--a PATTERSON or something?!?"

Remember, little sis, being a Patterson means being passive-aggressive, not just passive. Unless you're dad, of course.

You were killing me today with that Liz poem. I would love to see Deanna / Liz interaction like that in the strip.
