Yamapi grasped Ryo’s hand tight. If anything happen, he will never let go of him. Ryo looked at Yamapi and back to the man called Ueda Tatsuya.
“What are you doing here?” Yamapi asked. His heart became restless.
“Don’t be so rude now. Where are all the manners you learned before?” Ueda said mockingly. He stepped forward closer to the couple. Ryo, who was at lost tugged at Yamapi’s hand.
“Pi who is he?” he asked.
“Pi? That’s what he called you? Kawaii~ Tomohisa, don’t you want to introduce your cousin here to your so-called lover?” Ueda snickered, still so arrogant. Yamapi eyed him intensely. His anger started to rise.
“This is my cousin, Ueda Tatsuya. His mother is my father’s sister,” Yamapi said to Ryo.
“Ahh, it’s so annoying to take care of you two. If it’s not because of Yamashita oji-san ordered me to do this. Listen, I don’t involve in this ok? I just come to deliver a message,” Ueda explained in boring face.
“Wait, did my parents know? How? Is it Yui?” Yamapi asked.
“Don’t say Yui name as you please, bastard!” Ueda yelled angrily. Yamapi was taken aback with his reaction.
“You don’t know how much you hurt Yui’s feeling. I won’t allow you get out of this without paying back!” Ueda continued. “And to think you done it with a filthy man, god forbid you.”
Ueda words pierced through Ryo’s heart like thousand blades. Before he knew it, a punch landed on Ueda’s face and the man fall on his back. Ryo stared wide eyes at Yamapi who was bursting with anger. Ryo grabbed Yamapi arms and hold him from continuously beating Ueda’s up.
“Leave Ryo out of this! You have no right to say that about him!!” Yamapi shouted frustrated. Ueda get on his feet and brushed the dirt off his jeans. He turned his attention to Ryo.
“You, I give you two options. First, leave London, go back to Japan. Forget Tomohisa, continue your life as always and we will leave you unharmed,” Ueda said casually as if nothing happen.
“You are threatening him?!” Yamapi growled. “Second,” Ueda continued, ignoring Yamapi.
“Meaning if you refused, we are not gangsters, and so we will still leave you unharmed. But we will confiscate you passport, visa, identification and England gov will consider you getting in illegally. You might end up in jail or sent back to Japan, but we will make sure you lose your job and you’ll find yourself in debt. Swindling is very common this day, right? Think more about your family than your own selfish self.”
“What this shit you are telling me? Can’t you leave my family alone?” Ryo said in trembling voice.
“Moreover, Tomohisa will get disinherited and might end up like you. Depend whether we want to keep him or not,” Ueda said. His expression was as cold as ice. Ryo can’t think anything. This was too much for him.
“Ryo, don’t listen to him. I won’t let that to happen to you,”
“Worry about yourself, Tomohisa. Once you got disinherited, the company will be mine,” Ueda said amusingly.
“I don’t care. You can take the company, all of it! Just tell my father to leave us alone,” Yamapi said out of desperation.
“Pi, shut up!” Ryo raised his voice. Yamapi was surprised. Ueda was surprised as well but for him, things just got more interesting.
“How can you say irresponsible thing like that? Don’t be a child; there must be another way to…to…” Ryo can’t continue what he wanted to say when a drop of tear falls. Yamapi realized his mistake. He stepped in front of Ryo as if protecting him.
“I want to talk about this with my parents,” Yamapi said. He didn’t wait for Ueda’s reply, but grabbed Ryo’s hand and began walking to the company.
“They won’t let you in. Wait until dinner at your residence tonight; they will be waiting for you,” Ueda said.
“Why am I invited to my house by a stranger?”
“That won’t be for long, if you insisted to be with…him,” Ueda said, looking at Ryo disgustingly and left. Yamapi looked at Ryo who just stared at nothing. His face showed no expression.
“Let’s go back,” he said slowly and pulled Ryo’s hand to the car. Once they were inside, Yamapi drove all the way back to their hotel. He held Ryo’s hand until they were safely in their hotel room again. Ryo broke down once the door was locked. He fell on his knees in front of the door and cried. Yamapi squatted in front of Ryo. His hand slowly touched Ryo’s wet face and fondled his cheek.
“I’d do anything I can just for you not to cry again,” Yamapi speak softly. He was also in tears looking at his lover. He felt so powerless and guilty for he only brought misery to Ryo so far.
“It’s not your fault,” Ryo murmured. He lifted his head and his gaze locked on Yamapi’s. “Come here,” Yamapi said and sat down on the floor. Ryo get up and sat on Yamapi’s lap. Yamapi embraced the small body fully in his arms. He kissed Ryo’s forehead and pecked his lips.
“Right now all I can think about is you. I love you, please don’t leave me. I might die if you leave me again,” Ryo spoke in low tone barely enough for Yamapi to hear. Yamapi hugged him tighter.
“I won’t leave you, please don’t say about dying again.” Yamapi moved Ryo’s position so he was on his knees looking down at Yamapi. They stared at each other for a long time.
Ryo pushed Yamapi’s on the floor. He spread Yamapi’s legs apart and settled in between. He leaned down and kissed Yamapi’s stomach gently. Yamapi’s get up a little and get his attires off. Then he lied down again. Ryo trailed his kisses to Yamapi’s bare chest and unbuckled his belt in the process. Yamapi reached for Ryo lips and kissed him. They pull apart after a while.
“Do it,” Yamapi said. Ryo was flustered. “I didn’t prepare…” “Just do it, now. I want you in me now,” Yamapi repeated. Ryo didn’t reply. He was so hard and needy. It was without a doubt he will hurt Yamapi. “Please…” Yamapi’s begged. Ryo lifted Yamapi’s legs higher and entered him in one quick, dry thrust. Yamapi cried out in pain loudly. Tears flowed down his temple to the floor.
“Yamapi I love you so much,” Ryo whispered. “I love you too.” Yamapi replied in tears.

“This way, Yamashita-sama,” a maid said. She glanced at the man trailed behind her young master but she immediately look away when Yamapi looked at her coldly.
“Come on, Ryo,” Yamapi said. Ryo followed behind him nervously. Stepping into the house, he immediately lost his confidence. Ryo can’t believe this castle like building was actually a house. He was sweating despite of the air-conditioned room. Suddenly, Yamapi grabbed Ryo’s hand and brought him to the dining room.
“Pi, let go of me! What if anyone saw?” Ryo protested as they walk.
“I promised you I’ll never let go of your hand,” Yamapi said firmly without looking at him. Ryo looked at their tangled hands sadly. He squeezed Yamapi’s hand.
“I wished you don’t have to let go forever.” Yamapi stopped walking and looked at Ryo this time. “I won’t,” he said.
The door to the dining room was opened by a maid waiting at the door. It opened revealing a big room with a long table in the middle. On the table, the preparation for the dinner was complete. It also seemed that two of the seats were occupied. Yamapi saw his parents that he hasn’t seen for a long time since he went back to Japan.
“Young master Yamashita-sama and his companion have arrived,” a butler said, announcing their arrival. Yamapi’s mother, seeing her only son holding hand with a man, nearly burst into tears. She looked away. Her face showed that she was really disappointed. Ryo felt so guilty looking at Yamapi’s mother, how a mother’s heart shattered into pieces because of him, the one she had known for years and invited to her house many times. He immediately pulled his hand from Yamapi’s grip. Yamapi went to take his seat in front of his parents. Ryo sat beside him.
“Father, ryo is here. You remember him, right? Mom?” Yamapi said. He looked between his father and mother. His father kept on munching his food, totally ignoring his presence.
“Mom?” Yamapi looked hopefully at his mother. But she just looked down. The food in her plate was not touched at all. Suddenly ryo stood up and bowed.
“Please let me date your son!” he said strongly. Yamapi stood up too.
“I really love Ryo, mom, dad,” Yamapi said.
“I don’t want to hear any of this, Tomohisa!!! I’ll never recognize a man as your lover! Are you out of your mind?! And you are engaged!!” Yamapi’s father shouted angrily.
“I don’t love Yui!” Yamapi argued.
“How you can say like that?” Yamapi’s mother said suddenly. Her voice was low and devastated. She was too sad to get angry. “Ryo-chan, why are you doing this to me? What about your family?” she asked Ryo.
“Mom, we just fall in love. We didn’t do anything wrong…” “Not wrong you say?!!” his father cut before Yamapi can continue. Then the door swung open again.
“Aragaki Yui-sama and Ueda Tatsuya-sama are here,” the butler announced. Yamapi and Ryo looked at the person entered the room in shock.
“Yui…” Yamapi said astonished. Yui walked into the room gracefully. For Ryo, she had changed completely from Yui he knew at Japan. The girl wore a flamboyant dress far different from the plain clothes she usually wore. Yui he knew always had a big innocent smile on her face, and she was so timid and shy in everything she did. This Yui have a kind of confidence in her and she didn’t look timid anymore. She looked like…how a heiress to a big company should look like. Even Yamapi’s parents looked up on her.
“Sorry for being late,” Yui said and bowed. Yamapi who can’t help it seeing Yui there, safe and sound, marched forward. He nearly forgot Ryo who was there too.
“Pi…” Ryo called for him but Yamapi has already gone to Yui side. Ryo knew Yamapi just worried about Yui. Yui was his fiancée after all. she‘s the one who had been with Yamapi for 20 years. But Ryo can’t deny that he was sad. He felt alone in the dissonant surrounding. These peoples were families, he’s the only one who’s not, and he’s the reason why this family will break up.
“Yui, you alright?” Yamapi asked. He sounded genuinely worried. Suddenly, Yui throw her arms around Yamapi’s neck and hugged him tight. Yamapi was anxious of the sudden moved. What if Ryo misinterpret it?
“Tomo, I’m so worried about you. I miss you so much,” Yui said.
“Yui, listen. I…” but Yui won’t listen. She didn’t want to let Yamapi go. She never had any intention of letting the love of her life go. She didn’t want to play dumb anymore, she wanted revenge.
“Our families have decided the date of our marriage. I know you will come back, Tomo," she said. “Marriage? No?!” Yamapi tried to argue.
“Tomohisa, playtime is over. I appreciate if you didn’t bring anymore problem to me. Stay the night, we have a lot to discuss tomorrow,” Yamashita-san said. He stood up and started to leave. Ryo was dumbfounded, everything happened so fast. Yamapi was more than angry, he pushed Yui off him.
“I don’t want to marry! We, Ryo and I came here to discuss about this,” “Tomohisa, please don’t give us more problem,” Yamapi’s mother spoke. “Ryo-chan, you can stay here too. Tatsuya will show the way to guest room.” Yamapi turned to Ryo, but the small man just look at him with a disappointed look. Ueda went behind him and put his hands on Ryo shoulders.
“I will take good care of him, don’t worry,” Ueda said with a devilish smile. Everyone leave the room. Yamapi can’t forget the look Ryo gave him when Ueda pulled him out of the room too. He has failed. He sat on one of the seats feeling so miserable.
“What do you see in a man?” Ueda asked. Ryo who sat on the bed of the guest room lifted his head to look at Ueda. Ueda was standing near the door, leaning to the wall. He has been observing Ryo since they arrived at the room. The man didn’t do anything but staring into spaces.
“I’d love Yamapi since we were small. I think being in love doesn’t have anything to do with being a man or woman,” Ryo said.
“Leave him,” Ueda said harshly. Ryo glanced at him. “Whatever the reason, you choose the wrong man. I don’t have anything against you. But in the end both of you will hurt. What I said before, I mean it. You will not want to see your family suffer,” Ueda continued.
“You love Yui, right?” Ryo said suddenly. Ueda was staggered. He didn’t expect Ryo to be so observant. He became speechless.
“I don’t think you want the company so much. I can see how mad you were at what Yamapi did to her,” Ryo said.
“Cut the crap, Yui belongs to Tomohisa. No matter how I love her, she won’t spare a glance on me. This is Yui’s plan all along. She threatened to cut the partnership between the two companies. She is a strong will woman; she will do anything to get what she wants.”
“I don’t want to let him go either. I can’t live without him.”
“Think about it! Do you want to see him stranded at the streets, without family, job, place to live or money? He has live in luxury for a very long time, for all his life? Do you think he can survive if he has nothing?! Stop being stubborn and use your mind,” Ueda yelled.
Ryo knew the truth in Ueda’s words. The image of Yamapi in Yui’s arms flashed in his mind. They were suitable together. He felt disheartened. Was there really no other way this can work? Suddenly, Ryo’s phone rang. He looked at then screen. The caller was Yamapi. “Think about it wisely,” Ueda said before leaving the room. Ryo locked the door before answering the phone.
“Pi,” he said. His back was on the door.
“Ryo? Where are you? I want to see you,” Pi worried tone was heard from the phone.
“No, it’s already very late. We will meet tomorrow,” Ryo said. Pi was silent for a long time.
“Everything will go well. I will try to talk to my parents again tomorrow,” Yamapi said. Ryo knew it’s no used. He tried his best not to cry again. But his heart was crying, cause it’s so hurt.
“Pi, I love you. You know that right?” Ryo said softly.
“Ryo, what happened? You won’t leave me, right?” Yamapi asked.
“Pi, just say it. Say you love me.”
“I love you. Nishikido Ryo, you are the one and only person I love,” Ryo smiled hearing that.
“That’s a relief. Whatever happens, remember I really love you. And fool, I won’t leave you,” Ryo laughed a little. He can almost hear Yamapi smiling at the other end.
“Ok, good night and see you tomorrow,” Yamapi said and hung up. Ryo listened to the beep sound even after Yamapi already hung up. He sat in front of the door, the phone still at his ear. Tears flow against his will.
“Goodbye, my lover,” he said and the phone replied with a long beep sound.
