[Civilization! An actual little town with lots of forest and small buildings and oh my god is that a little boy playing with a dog? Phoenix wanders into this town after well, wandering for however long he has been and he smiles

Wordlessly, he checks his crystal, wondering if he has enough for food.]

[He's almost drifted off when the lady sets down a steaming hot plate of mash potatoes and meatloaf. He hopes very much that this meat is beef and not something... strange... but he can't be sure and it smells so good.

So! He eats. Cutting off a piece of meatloaf, he pops it into his mouth and chews, looking around the restaurant before spotting a Japanese man. He looked pretty out of place if Phoenix had to take a guess, maybe he was an Otherworlder?]

[Well, it seems that he has enough drops for food, so he orders something light before taking a seat to the table next to Phoenix. If Kasuka's acknowledged his presence, he doesn't show it.]

[A small, vibrating twang echoes from the corner of the small place. It was a deep sound, like the sound of a guitar but not without a slight edge of sharpness to it. The man holding the instrument it came from gives the knob at the top a little twist before strumming it again.

"Oh, are you going to play something for us?" a waitress bringing him a drink asks. The man smiles and replies that once the strings were dry he would most definately be honored to play a little something.]
