Please Read
Layouts are released as work in progress and are linkware (meaning they require a link back), they are subject to change at ANY time. If you notice a problem with your layout the chances are I've already fixed it, so recopy the CSS and if it still doesn't work then please comment in the entry to let me know.
My layouts are designed to work at their best in firefox, opera and flock. IE is just an annoyance (unless you have the beta in which it should work fine). URLs are also subject to change due to the way the host works! If I make a change I have to reupload the stylesheet and that means the URL will change, for this reason the textbox is usually more accurate.
Also before asking stupid questions look through the 'custom options' under manage > customise, its more than likely that your problem can be solved through there.
oh, and CHECK your css still looks identical to how it was when you copied it before asking any questions.

need to refer 5 people in order to be able to link to .css files. (easily done!)

How do I use your s2 layouts?
You can follow the text instructions below or watch this nice video I have made for you. (I'm sorry about the watermark but I'm not buying the software!)
First, go to http://www.livejournal.com/manage/.
Under Customisation select customise journal.
Select S2 and click Save Changes.
Under the 'look and feel' tab, select the correct style eg/. Flexible Squares, Smooth Sailing then click Save changes.
Click the custom options tab, then Custom CSS.
Select no for the first two dropdown boxes. (if your using an external host for your CSS select yes for the third dropdown box)
Paste the css from the layout entry into the box saying 'custom stylesheet'
Click save changes.
Also the layout may not appear immediatly if your using an external host, this is because it has to go through a CSS proxy checking you havn't tried to disable ads etc.

The layouts are subject to change because I'm alerted to faults. All layouts are released as betas and are constantly being improved. Also some browsers (such as IE) require me to edit the layout so it may appear completely different in IE - but it should still look good.
How do I add information to my sidebar in s2 layouts?
This is done through the edit customisation option in manage > customise.
Click sidebar and add 'blurbs'. The number is limited with free accounts.
To add links go here and click the link to the links list.

Under Edit Customisations find this and change it to no.
Can I edit/change your layouts?
You may add your username etc to banners as long as you make it clear that the banner was made by me, you may also edit the colours etc again, as long as you clearly state that the layout was made by me. But dont ask for help if your coding messes up mine.
Can I add a header to your layouts?

Do these layouts work on paid/sponsored accounts?
Yes. But comments arnt customised. If you want them customised, leave a comment on the layouts page with a link to the site thats using the layout and I'll customise them and update the stylesheet so everyone can have customised comments.

I dont test my layouts on a test account so comments wont be customised. If you would like them customised post a link to the page thats using the css and I'll update the css on the layout your usings page.
