The picture you painted made Alison live and breathe, which makes this hurt so much more. She's poised to start life, and then it's ended. Reaching out and opening up to Dean made him do the same. Anticipated meetings and that little business with her hair revealed growing connection. It's no wonder Dean stops letting anyone outside their circle in. It's not worth the pain. Lovely work.
