There's no way we can tell you, you're going to have to wait it out. I suggest finding something to do that isn't thinking about it.

I'm sorry you didn't get into your top choices. But if you're concerned about funding your education, there are many other reputable schools (that may even be less competitive) that fully fund their graduate students ( ... )

Thank you. Well, I am already applying to less competitive colleges and colleges outside the US, such as the University of Liverpool and Concordia in Canada, though I really would like to think I still have a shot at NYU.

We can't tell you whether or not you'll be admitted for the MA programs, but I can tell you that you seem to have solid credentials, that a 610 verbal is a decent GRE score (especially if you are not a native English speaker, which I suspect you aren't if you had to take TOEFL) and that the rank of your recommenders is less important than what they say about you.

Like tisiphone said, I suggest that you start or rediscover a hobby and do that so that you aren't agonizing over this.

Thank you, Amaterasu, but, unfortunately, I don't have to worry about it anymore. I was rejected from NYU, so I have no other choice but to keep on trying. I'm going for things with lower profile now: Marshall University, Concordia University in Canada, and the University of Liverpool. Wish me luck.
