Communication PhD progams?

I'm about halfway-ish through my master's program (I'm on the 3 year plan, so about a year and a half left to go), and I'm toying with the idea of getting my PhD. I'd want to take a break of at least 1-2 years before starting, partially because I'm 24 now and have more or less been in school my entire life, and also because it'd be nice to bring

No, there's really nothing like that, because choosing your PhD program will depend on the research that's being done. My suggestion? Find researchers that are doing things you want to do, or like things that you want to do, and see where they work. (Or at least where they worked when they wrote that paper.) Start from there.
