This question is for any History majors out there. Since I am not applying until this fall, and I will not be starting until the fall after that, I was counting on having the time in between to make some money so I can actually afford to go to grad school

I'm not in the same field per say, but many of the jobs you would be looking for are the same I would look for. I'm Anthropology (specifically medieval North Atlantic archaeology) and Art History

Thank you so much for all the great ideas!
Working for a travel agency is definitely something I had never thought of before.
I also did not know that universities hired people who were not students to be teaching assistants. That is good to know!
I just started doing tours for my local historical society, and I also am volunteering for a local museum with the hope of putting myself out there and to get experience.
Otherwise, there were some projects of my own I have been wanting to pursue. Good to know that it is not unreasonable for someone without a more advanced degree to consider publication.
