Workshop question

Some MFA programs want to know if I've taken writing workshops. I have a BA in creative writing, so I've taken a lot of classes labeled as workshops (Advanced Writing Workshop, Poetry Workshop, etc), where we submitted pieces to the class and professors, and received a group critique. Is this what the programs are referring to, or do they want to
