From your experience, is mailing an application 2 days before it's due OK?

I have a deadline on the 8th, and want to mail it out on the 6th.  I'm the kind of person who likes things done wayyy ahead of time and according to my original plan it was supposed to be mailed on Dec.6 not Jan 6.  Do you think it will get there on time if I pay for express delivery? Yeah... Express mail should work. I don't think any other USPS shipping option would guarantee it there on time. I think USPS is the only one that will overnight to P.O. Boxes, too, so you should be all set, even if that's where they receive mail.

I would overnight fedex it, so it's definitely there on time and you can track it and make sure.

Also, doublecheck that they actually want it in on the 8th, and not just postmarked by then. If they just need the postmark, you might save yourself some stress :)
