Hello! I've been going through this whole application process for a few months now. I'm applying to 6 schools for my Masters in Public Health (except Johns Hopkins, where I am going for the Masters of Health Science), for epidemiology and infectious disease, or something similar, depending on the school. I'm going for the Masters International

The Peace corps is a nice goal. If your higher skilled and not just a generalist there are other programs run by the federal government, so don't keep it too narrow.

Since it's Hopkins you have their RPCV nursing program working for you, but, when I investigated this there was an ethical problem and the ethics web site run by the students was closed. I'm not a big fan. They also sent doctors to 'help' tortured prisoners in Afghanistan or Iraq, another ethics problem they have no problem with since they were paid as contractors from the school.

Good luck and I wouldn't be too short with it, they apparently like a lot of words rather than an action plan for five years or so.
