I went the "fake" job route to get experience in museums, although I have to say that working the hours I do to get by certainly feels real enough. Work is work, whether you're getting a good salary or a horrible hourly wage, and no job you support yourself with is "fake ( ... )

I'd say bad job in your field or internship would look better. Of course you could probably twist any job so that its related to Anthro. In all seriousness though, a "real" job could give you good skills as others have said, which may help you in grad school although the job its self has no bearing on Anthro.
