I took the GRE

I took the GRE this morning and got a 670 verbal! Yay! Most of the programs I'm applying to are looking for around a 650 so I'm happy!

by strategy, i meant study strategy. and also, congratsss!!

I focused mainly on the verbal section (since I'm applying to history programs)and used the Princeton Review, Barrons, and Kaplan books for strategy and practice.

Most of my time was spent on learning vocabulary and for that I used the Princeton Review Hit Parade and Beyond the Hit Parade, number2.com, and mygretutor.com. I made vocabulary flash cards for all the words and then made vocabulary quizzes.

Every time I took a practice test I wrote down the words I didn't know so that I could add those to my list.
