I was wondering what the general requirements are to apply for a graduate masters program in a biological science field (molecular biology, genetics, biochemistry, etc) because I'm not a science major, Im a music major taking general core science classes. How much science do I need to have to be accepted into a bio grad program? Thanks!!!

You pretty much need to major in bio or a closely aligned subject (bio-chemistry, anatomy, etc.) with a lot of bio credits. And you need research experience in a lab setting. Masters programs in biology (and most sciences) are incredibly competetive.

I can't speak from a hard science perspective, but I've found that it tends to vary from program to program. For instance, I'm a theatre major who plans to apply for a Masters in Public Policy and have taken about five policy/related courses. For a top 10 program, the course requirements to even apply are higher than that. For a lower-ranked program, that's more than enough. It depends on the school.

For biochemistry, you usually need a degree in biochemistry.

I am nutrition with biochem emphasis and for me it was required to have 12 credits of chem (genchem 1&2, orgochem 1 and 2 wasn't required but advised), 12 credits of bio, 12 credits of physics, statistics, and basic nutrition coutses. It was also recommended that I have genetics, anatomy, and biochemistry. Nutrition wasn't my undergrad major, but all the above courses were a part of my major curriculum.
Honestly though you're going to need your physics, bios, chems, and biochem for anything in the sciences.

Find a school that has a program you are interested in and look at the requirements on their web page. If you check several schools you'll get a general idea.
