So, with phone calls to friends, the Thommens managed to secure a place to crash at in Crans-Montana this weekend, and arranged so we could see some of the European Masters tournament in Crans-Montana. You were in Crans-Montana - brilliant - isn't it blissful? My great aunt has a wonderful chalet up there with a lake in the back garden; we go up there to ski every few years. I should really go more often, I *love* it. It's simply one of the most beautiful places I've ever been, really magical.

Skiing instructors are pretty hot, too.

Ha! For some reason I can't say I'm surprised. ;-)

It is a lovely place, but not one that I can say I felt particularly comfortable in. I think I would like it best in the summertime without the golf tournament crowds. Wintertime, I simply need better cocktails than what was available in Montana
