my husband is on tumblr =) but i love lj and i've been on it for so long, i don't think i could leave! and there are so many good communities on lj that i don't think tumblr has.

You know, after a while I kind of felt like I was surrounded by a bunch of teeny boppers. I guess because I haven't found the type of audience I was looking for (people closer to my age). Otherwise, I think tumblr is pretty cool. Just didn't get the "home" feel though.

That is exactly how I feel about LJ, too. I found it a little difficult to be "me" over there at tumblr. I think it was because I had a lot of young followers. I was afraid they weren't going to understand what the hell I was blabbing about.
