Awwww, these are great! Just what we need to celebrate the holiday.
That's one of the best things about Adam, so far, that he's so positive, complimentary, and sincere. It's not just that he's sweet to Kurt, I'll bet he's encouraging to all the Apples and his friends. He might not be popular with the school overall, but I'll bet his friends are fiercely loyal.
Kurt needs some positivity in his life, and maybe Adam needs someone who will boost him up, and stand up for him. Kurt doesn't laugh nearly often enough, and I'll bet Adam loves it when he finds someone who gets his sense of humor.
So: How many positive, happy comments and replies can we come up with before this day is over? How many good things can we say about Kurt, Adam, Kadam, the Apples, etc., in one 24-hour period? (Okay, I've got half an hour to go before it's officially 2/14, but it's close enough.)
(Sorry for semi-hijacking the post, but I got inspired!)
His smiles are made of 100% pure sunshine, and his voice is made from whiskey and velvet. His clothing and style speaks to an eclectic spirit. He collects amazing things and puts them together. And there is a deep kindess in his heart, tempered by hurt of being an outside.
Which reminds me, Kurt also has beautiful arms. They should engage in a friendly arm-wrestling match, like the winner gets to arrange the next song they do in a public performance. They can find out who is stronger physically, or more likely, who can distract the other the most easily, and we the audience will be vastly entertained.
I get the feeling they will work together on things happily, or cheer on each other's successes, and Kurt will have some real good ideas on how to bolster the spirits of any Apples who are discouraged by the way the rest of the school treats them. He will give them a pep talk on the power of the underdog, and what they can accomplish through sheer determination. They, in turn, will praise his unique voice, his fashion sense, and ask him to tell them more about what it was like to be on the winning team for Nationals.
They will continue to recruit the talented, but overlooked NYADA students who just need someone to believe in them.
Screw teenage dreams, Adam is an adult dream and it's an amazing dream of British goodness! He sensed that Kurt was lonely and not only gave him a group of happy people to hang out with, but also picked out an amazing song to make him laugh. We hadn't even seen that laugh on Kurt since before New York, when Burt did the 'Single Ladies' dance for him. And personally, I'm very happy I get to be part of this sweet new community of lovely people. Thank you, Adam :)
I think in that loneliness, they are kindred spirits, but with Adam, he reaches out. He, like Kurt, seeks out those who are disenfranchised and makes them his allies and supports them.
You know the mpregger in me agrees with this. Of course, Kurt would have beautiful babies with anyone, but their babies would have the motherfucking best cheekbones and blue eyes of any diva baby out there.
