♥ !! Wow, very nice tidbit here. It fits in well with the universe, I think, how smoothly the technology melds with the canon characters. Nice bit of mystery here too -- just like the original, although of course these characters have been altered in key ways. XD!!!

Hmm... Perhaps it was time he let Kuwabara have his lifelong dream. Old go players were many; old assasins were rare. Akira was old enough to take care of himself now.

Assassins ? -- misssing an "s", I think.

Anyway, so Kouyou wants to retire from being an assassin (lol) so he can chase down Sai, I think? And Akira is an assassin too?

Yes, TK wants to play go with Sai again, but overall, he's just decided he's old enough to retire, hand the Go Institute (*nudge nudge wink wink*) to Kuwabara, and go wander off to play more go. Yes, of course Akira is an assassin too. ^_~ Like father, like son. I suspect that if Kouyou had been a fisherman, Akira would have been on the boat with him every day and learning how to fish every day, too.

This is an interesting teaser for S.A.I., seeing as I haven't discovered your original story yet.

Might something like 'Remote sensing' make a suitable substitute title? Though its perhaps a little mundane, there're no aliens implied.

Lastly, I thought it was neat to credit your betas upfront in the headers: I've never seen anyone do that before.
