[Admin] Still Alive!

Hey everyone,

As you may (or may not) have noticed, the pace of my updates has slowed to a crawl. The last fic I posted was written in January--on January 2nd, to be exact. You may also have heard that I am backing out of fandom to concentrate on original fiction.

Well, yes, I am spending more time and energy on my original fiction, and I don't have as much time for fandom as I used to... but I am still writing fanfic, honest! ^_^ For now, anyway. I've just been working really hard on trying to make sure the writing gets better (and better and better). That, and I've been distracted by original work and real life.

More specifically, I promise that I will continue (and more importantly, finish) the WIPs I have, which include the following:

• Pearly Gates (the main Ogata-centric story as well as another side story that crosses with PSoH as promised to cienna and ontogenesis)
• Numbered
• Tezuka's Notebook
• Krai (because I promised readerofasaph fic and felt like what emerged was a horrible cop-out because it was so short)
• Letters to the Inter-dimensional Agency (probably going to take FOREVER)
• the Cogs and Gears universe--at the very least, all the planned arcs and fics need to be covered.
• a prequel to S.A.I., as promised to ontogenesis

I may not write more fics in the Dragons of the Rising Sun AU simply because I feel the story I wanted to tell has been told already. I do owe drabbles/fics in the universe from requests and prize-fics, though, and if I promised you something, I'll write it eventually, or contact you privately begging for a reprieve of some sort or other. Likewise, the Playground AU is pretty much done. There's a hard R/NC-17 Tezuka-centric I've been toying with for a while, but that's unlikely to get finished/written anytime soon, because honestly, PWP/smut of the censorable kind isn't really safe to write nowadays. I will, however, finish all the requests/drabbles of various sorts outstanding for whatever reason.

Anyway, basically: I'm not dead! I'm still writing! These fics WILL be finished, or you'll hear otherwise from me here--I promise not to drop without notifying people. ♥ Thank you so much for watching apples_for_me, for enjoying my fics, and for sticking around. I hope I won't disappoint anyone when the fics finally appear.
