I also liked it, of course, since I just had that trip to Kyoto not so long ago. Perhaps I'll have to drag you hiking one of these days (did I tell you I used to be an officer in a camping club?) =^.^=

I think you did, yes! Remember that bunny we talked about, with the camping and everything? I didn't write it, and wrote this instead. I go hiking as long as the weather isn't too bad and we aren't expected to camp overnight. (If you expect me to sleep in a tent, I need a LOT of convincing ...)

this was lovely! I'm not familiar with the four seasons (since I live in an only-two-seasons-country)
but you portrayed the environment pretty well, I can almost see it ^___^
and I love Fuji here! he was so understanding of Tezuka's emptiness
and his christmas gift for Tezuka was just as lovely!
by the way, this:
Fuji was right. Tezuka felt it now, the chill beginning to permeate through his jacket. He checked Fuji's clothes, relieved to find Fuji had also dressed warmly. Fuji's scarf looked a little disheveled, and without speaking, Tezuka reached out. He handed Fuji his cup, unwound Fuji's scarf, and then wound it back efficiently.
Fuji chuckled when Tezuka was done. "Thank you, Mother," he said, eyes twinkling at Tezuka as he returned the cup.
was so much win and love! <3
Fuji called Tezuka 'mother' cracked me up XD
Nice story! thanks for sharing! XD
