I filled him in about Nibelheim, or at least what I was there for, so if you end up talking to him about Sephiroth, you won't need to worry about adding a prologue.

That's what the races were--and the Fog, and the Gladiator Games before that. There's so many of them a month, and they can affect everybody. At least one will get you, unfortunately.

While I am flattered that someone would worry for me, I can assure you that it is unnecessary. I was a SOLDIER once upon a time. We can survive a great many different conditions. Still, I was pleased to have Angeal here to greet me since he offered me a place to stay.

Vehicles, yes. Insofarasmuch as some of those could be called vehicles, at any rate; I didn't really catch much of it.
