or linux..or windows bashing..or being female and being a coder at the same time....apparently they're supposed to be sorta mutually exclusive, or at least those annoying guys seem to get all pissy when you know how to code and they dont.

it's pathetic.

ah, there's the sexism again. Granted, on many channels, fora and the like is a lot of machism and stupidity. Hey, perhaps it's just like real life, only their you'd feel less tempted to enter certain clubs?

Smashing people with bricks is indeed not sexy at all, it's just plain fun. Luckily I'm an operator, admin or moderator on most places I frequent on the interwebs, so I don't have to resort to bricks.

well, in real life it doesn't happen as often. somehow the difference is being online, and anonymous to an extent.

I doubt half of them would be doing what they do if they had to say it to a woman's face.

When I think about discrimination, I believe sexism is the one that most disturbs me. It bothers me that there are guys who don't consider feelings of the female sex and believe in that 'sex object' nonsense. I believe... or, know, rather, that women/girls have their rights and ought to be treated as such. I actually believe that the female sex is the... well, better one. Don't know how else to put that.
I don't get why other guys don't just think the way I do. I actually feel good about myself, being able to be with one of those I so admire. Can't imagine how that good feeling'd come along from treating someone else badly. Reminds me of bullies.

somehow, some people do feel good treating others like shit. they think it's funny too, and others join in. it IS bullying.
