At first glance 98 seemed like a good idea. And from the commercials on some of the conservative radio channels (my wife listens to AM 600), I thought, "Yeah, what right does the gov't have to take any ones home?"
But then I read the voter pamphlet. 99 is basically a smear campaign of 98. But 98 seems iffy in that light, which also calls into question 99.
So at this point, unless something comes up that radically offers an explanation of one being a law that might actually help someone other then those with deep pockets, I will be voting "no" on both.

Yeah I know. I'm not a fan of eminent domain and I want to restrict how the government takes advantage of that. But both 98 and 99 aren't the answer. And precisely..99 is a smear campaign.

No point in voting yes on either one, but I fear that people will do so just because they see it on the ballot and didn't really look into either one of them beyond thinking "oh they want to restrict eminent domain? i'm voting yes on both of them! (because I don't want my home|property taken by the govt to do something stupid and this might make a difference)".
