I can't even begin to express everything I like about this, but suffice it to say the list is pretty extensive. This is a lovely look at both of them and how they regard each other in a way that's both guarded but still trusting, and I really enjoyed how you incorporated bits about their pasts.

And Arthur/Eames/paisley is the fandom's true OT3, for real. :)

This is entirely lovely. I adore how Arthur and Eames navigate each other's prickly boundaries in this weird space where they clearly care about each other but don't always know how to express it. It's like two pieces on a chess board moving slowly towards each other, but it's still a dangerous game -- you've captured that feeling so well.

slkdnsdklf Thank you!! That was a much more elegant way of putting it than what my brain came up with, hahaha, but yeah! It's a really fascinating aspect of dreamshare, where you have to trust people with your mind, but you can't trust them to have your back and the whole process of accidentally building a relationship in that kind of environment.
