"A Certain Private Conversation"

So, it's been a while. I definitely recommend trying a new ship if you're locked in writer's block. During my unofficial hiatus, I have watched Munich and liked it and have discovered deep wells of sarcasm in me in response to possibly the most idiotic teacher I have had and hopefully will ever have.

I think you just signed off. But I can't WAIT to read this. :) Promise you I *DEFINITELY* will in the near future when school decides to hand me SOME FUCKING OXYGEN. :(

I REALLY wonder about some teachers. Like, am I that smart or are some people REALLY that stupid? Cause I swear I don't need a PhD to teach some of the classes I've taken. :P

Talk to you soon, LOTF. ;) You're all about the acronyms . . . so didja catch that one!? Haha.

(Stacy is gonna LOVE this, btw. YOU KNOW IT! :D)

Hoho! Internet is working. Taking advantage.

DUDE BREATHE! Sucks that school's being a bitch to you right now :\ Same here, but definitely not that bad.

AHHAHA SERIOUSLY. This guy! What's awful is that he gave us this big speech about how he was going to treat us like adults. Right. If he actually believes that...blergh.

LORD OF THE FLIES IN THE HOUSE! HO!

Thanks for the chat, Betty :) :) :)

Remember...LOOPHOLE! Hard questions, DIVERT!

L, first off, let's get it out of the way, I want another one. I want ANOTHER ONE! I'll do anything for another one!!!!! Can you feel the desperation? Well that's a risk I'm willing to take! PLEASE! PLEASE? I love you, Leila ( ... )

Okay, first of all, I'm glad you liked it enough to want another one :P And second, ummmm, I probably will write another one, just not anytime soon. But I like writing Pansy and I like writing Harry, so it makes sense that I'd write them together, right? I'm still undecided as to whether I like Harry/Pansy or Draco/Pansy...will need more swaying ( ... )

"...will need more swaying"

Why does it have to be one or the other, L? Why can't it be both? Huh? COME ON. There's no picking favorites here. Though to be fair...Draco does suck. :P

Totally okay about the tutorial cuz I'm really interested in how people rationalize what they do. And just don't do homework. Call it Civil Disobedience and forget it because busy work is for sheep anywayz.

I forgot to mention that I'm not rich as Blaise Zabini. Or rich at all. And thanks, now I'm depressed over it. :P ( ... )

"HAHAHA, I THOUGHT THIS MEANT SOMETHING ELSE OTHER THAN HER NOSE! And I was like, Harry! You sly dog! Way to notice!"

I know. AHAHHA. I tried to write it some other way and then gave up.

I thiiiiiiink you're asking how/why I wrote it post-Hogwarts? Well, I told Betty that my fic was post-Hogwarts and that I hoped it would be okay and she said that you liked post-Hogwarts? So that's all good :) But I didn't want to set them during Hogwarts because of all that shit that was happening thanks to HBP, what with Pansy CLEARLY adoring Draco, and they would've hated each other too much to be able to look past anything. This situation, where she needs him for answer she really wants, would give them an excuse to deal with each other - Pansy needing to know answers that only Harry knows, and Harry wanting to unburden some of the guilt to Pansy, a "family member" of a sort, I guess. But wait! Do you usually set/read fics where it's a decade after, or just after school fics? But yeah, I rarely write post-Hogwarts fics. Just one. Or two. So like ( ... )

On the post-hogwarts things, I don't really have a preference. I mean, I do write post more often than during, but that's only because my preoccupation is with war, and not the school. And they're so closed off at school that sometimes I'd just rather have them in a more adult world with direct consequences ( ... )

Oh! Have you seen Equilibrium? Christian Bale and Sean Bean? It's a good cult film, kind of Matrix-y except I like it more than the Matrix, I think. Christian Bale's character, Preston the Cleric, is this guy working for a fascist sort of regime, but he's basically like a good man in a crap position trying to deal with it. And yeah, I was DEFINITELY thinking on that subconciously when I wrote Harry and his job. I don't think Harry would just cut his ties to the Ministry ( ... )

Um, have you seen the Machinist?!??! I love Equilibrium, but The Machinist just beats it a little bit more. And also very appropiate because Bale's character in that one carries a little something extra that compells him to act the way he does ( ... )

NOO! Haven't seen The Machinist buuuuuuuut I know what happens because I www.themoviespoiler.com all scary movies. So yeah, I know what you mean about the extra weight Bale's character was carrying :P Poor Bale's character :( But I didn't watch it, so it totally didn't occur to me about that connection! But yeah Harry's character, more like scary machinist than awesome Preston. I connect.

YEAH! Draco's typically either or. Harry can do ANYTHING AND rationalize it, sorta.

Americanisms do the angry better! Or maybe I'm jhust used to it. Yeah, Harry either throws things around, hits things, or he sulks. Emotionally retarded hahah yeah sounds right.

“You’re still stuck in the past,” he snarled. “And everyone else has moved on. You just write about what happened a decade ago. You called me a ‘thing of the past,’ but really, it’s you, isn’t it? You’re the one who’s obsessed with everything back then. What’s so great about it back then? When the war was happening and people were dying and what is so great about that? What’s the view look like from back there, Parkinson ( ... )

Yeah, Harry has no manners. He's awkward and socially inept at times. So cute, the clueless wonder!

That WAS a major close reading :) But yeah, I can see Pansy as, despite being quite bitchy, still having old fashioned values and knowing ladylike conduct from her upbringing, and I can see her being annoyed or even scandalized at poor commoner Harry :P

YES! The barmaid Fran knowing him and him knowing her was all about look at Harry, he's such a loner who goes to these horrible bars and to do who knows what. Glad you liked that :D

Okay, here I'm curious, 'cause Betty has said that Hermione annoys you, and you might've said why before, but why? She annoys me in the movies (more the lines she has and the actions she's given than her being played by Emma), and in the books she's just annoying when she's needling Ron and Harry about goofing off or whatever, but overall I like her braininess/bookishness, especially when it's all in your face! to Umbridge.
