Oh my gosh ... by brain has just short circuited and I'm just about at tears. I cannot tell how time flows in this piece. I feel as though it wasn't a linear progression, but then, I don't care because memories aren't bound by chronology. and these are beautiful memories, they read backwards and forewards like the name "hannah." I don't know if Draco does it, or if he's just thinking about doing it (being forced to do it actually), but he doesn't do it with his soul so it doesn't matter what the body does. The spirit's with her and that, that really breaks my heart and sets it down gently in a bed of snow.

That kind of reaction is always good for an angst fic :) You're right; I left time in the air to imply the vagueness and occasional holes Hermione has in her memory. And I'm really happy you mentioned what Draco's doing and his motives for doing it...he is forced into that situation by all these other factors, but he's going to do what he'll have to do mechanically - his heart's not in it. Hahah yeah, the entire song was inspired by "Run" :P It's a GREAT song. I like quite a few other Snow Patrol songs, but I'd really only want to see them in concert for that one :P
