I figure we all need a little happy, and, as VPG (Vampire Pirate Guy for the uninitiated) is my personal pep-squad, I thought I'd follow pikespeak22's example and photoshop him into being.
I aim to please. (He was a handful - that's seven difference pictures all told, including adding S3 hair to S2 Guy, which shouldn't be anything like as tricky as it is.)
The next instalment of Sarah's seduction has now appeared, too.
Ahoy there Cap'n Guy! I surrender and am prepared for you to board me. *wicked giggle then surreptitiously tries to wipe drool from chin*
I'm very happy to see that VPG put in another appearance. Hopefully, we will be seeing and reading a lot more of him now that his TV stint in Sherwood is done.
It's like our own little VPG viral campaign - muahahaha!
(I know what you mean about it being kind of tricky to make VPG put in an appearance and, sometimes, it's the odd little details that are the trickiest. Nicely done though!)
And to think we've even won over anti-pirate, anti-vampire Mopphead. . . now if we can just convert her to slash, we'll really be cookin' with gas, heehee!
I just know I want Capn' Guy to plunder my precious pearls, rosebuds and other other treasures . . . and I will be glad to walk his magnificent plank.
Well, I don't think Mopphead stood much of a chance given the utter magnificence of our Immortal Beloved, VPG.
As for slash, I think that is something that just kind of sneaks up on one... Lure people in with the pre-slash, which slowly segues into slash that they can't help but want to read...throw in a few 'tasteful' bits of companion fanart - et voila. Plus, I also think we need to convince 'some people' *cough-Helen-cough*, that Allan's cheeky charm and boyish good looks are a perfect foil for our tall, dark and brooding Guy.... *muahahaha*
Resistance was always going to be futile, but VPG would rather his victims are willing.
With slash, my theory goes: what's better than one gorgeous man? Two of them, kissing!
I love Allan, I do really, just...not like that. On the other hand, Angie and I were talking about the addition of a sweet, blond seafarer to the crew of the Chartreuse Bastard by the name of Wentworth. We've seen his CV and think he'd be an excellent comrade for the Captain on any long voyages where there's little to do except 'enjoying one another's company' - says she, with a saucy wink.
That's fabulous. We went to the Sea Life Centre Blackpool this weekend and there's a section made up like a Caribbean pirate ship wreck; there was music from POTC natch; and who kept floating into my brain.
Yup you guessed it Capt Gizzy and his sexy vamp pirate crew.

Our darling fallen angel Sarah Belle is ready for an unforgettable night with Cap'n Guy, methinks.
