It's 5 am and I need to know the honorific the Japanese use for a president (one of a club or something...but something very polite...).....I'm torn between sama and sensei....I don't know.....
My dictionary says that the president of a society is "kaichou". So, like, Yamazaki-kaichou XD
Japanese has a lot of words for presidents, so if you're not sure which one to use, just use "-sama". -sensei when not used for teachers is reserved for exceptionally skilled people, like composers, lawyers, doctors, etc.
You have no idea how happy I am to have a sempai like you Xazy......
I was going to use -sama if I couldn't find an honorific that i liked. To me though -sama seamed a little too polite...but meh......beggers can't be choosers right? ^^"

"-sama" - This is one level higher than "-san." It is used to confer great respect.
"-dono" - Thos comes from the word "tono," which means "lord." It is an even higher lever than "-sama," and confers utmost respect.
From all the anime/manga Ive seen/read they used "-sama."
