San Francisco isn't that great. Sure, it's nice, but I'm not a city person. Give me suburbia any day. I really liked Berkley's campus though. I really want to apply there. I'd have to find a new major, because Creative Writing is only offered as a minor. Fuckers ( Read more... )

Don't worry so much: most writers write because they feel that they HAVE to write- it's part of them. Most people I know still read fiction. Real life is sometimes too hard to deal with, which is why we have fiction; it's an escape.

Plenty of people read fiction novels. Otherwise, how could any fiction writers make a profit? No, don't worry about that. There's millions of people in the U.S. alone; I'm certain there's still plenty who read.

Besides, it'd be nice to have another friend who plans on being a writer. Anyway, enjoy San Francisco.
