I'd be glad to comfort you, my dear, if ever we can be in the same location. You're in Paris then? Could I come see you sometime? You do sound terribly busy. I suppose I've been busy too, being ill and upset.
I wish (also most selfishly) to rest my head upon your shoulder or your lap. I wish to tell you about the hopes and dreams I have for us both and about my fears they will never be.
I would confide all in you if I could. Please don't drop out of touch for so long. I can bear (barely) not seeing you if you keep in touch by mail.
