Last night when we were sitting and talking, Shanti told me that his PC at home was full of viruses and spyware and he could not clean it. Since there wasn't much data on the disks, he decided to re-install Windows XP. The other day I was trying to setup transparent proxying with caching using squid and iptables on my home PC. I followed the Transparent Proxy with Linux and Squid mini-HOWTO initially, but faced problems.

On this week's free edition of LWN's development page, I saw an image ad powered by google. Somebody (mannu?) was mentioning Google's image ads, but this is the first time that I encountered one.
